The purpose and working principle of precision watches

Precision gauges are mainly used for calibrating general pressure gauges and can also be used for precise measurement of liquid gas pressure in vacuum.

The working principle of a precision meter is to use elastic sensitive components (such as spring tubes) to generate elastic deformation under pressure. The magnitude of the deformation is linearly related to the applied pressure, and is amplified by a transmission mechanism. The pointer indicates the measured pressure on the dial. The elastic sensitive components of precision watches are generally of the spring tube type, but other forms of elastic sensitive components can also be used.

Precision pressure gauges belong to the category of elastic pressure instruments. Their structural principle is that the elastic pressure gauge is composed of a measuring system (including joints, elastic components, and transmission mechanisms), an indicating part (including pointers and dials), and an outer shell part (including case, cover ring, and glass). The instrument has good sealing performance and does not have a sealing device, which can protect its internal measuring mechanism from mechanical damage and contamination invasion. The working principle of an elastic pressure gauge is based on the deformation of an elastic element (the elastic tube in the measurement system). Under the pressure of the measured medium, the elastic element is forced to deform (such as the corresponding elastic deformation at the end of the spring tube), and a displacement is generated. With the help of the rotation of the connecting rod through the gear rotation mechanism and amplification, the pointer fixed on the gear gradually indicates the measured pressure on the indexing plate.

Precision pressure gauges can be divided into spring tube type, diaphragm box type, diaphragm type, and bellows type according to different elastic sensitive components. Most of the commonly used ones are spring tube type.
